Alone he relaxes serenely. His dog gazes at him with love as the compassionate man reads a novel. Does he come here every day or is it his first visit. Does he eschew technology for his tome or do we assume too much. One thing is for certain. There is something more.

The Cinematic City Collection is a selection of street photographs taken by the author to represent film stills. These antagonise the viewer into creating a narrative around the image.

As a child I played a game with my mother making backstories about strangers. Cinematic City is an evolution of this.
