A few years ago I was lucky enough to be able to use a Leica camera at Christmas. Whilst walking through the biting evening air of London I happened upon this dealer about to remove the wares from his window. With intrigue I marvelled at the beautiful timepieces I will likely never be able to afford.
The juxtaposition of Picadilly and Green Park is heartbreaking. Homeless people lay on the winter streets as oligarchs, millionaires and influencers purchase their luxuries, paying no heed to those less fortunate than themselves.
Monochromatic Meanderings is a collection of street photographs and portraits. As the author meanders through this world he captures moments monochromatically through his lens. Photons travel across time and space to be harnessed within photographic tools. Desaturation of colour encourages us to focus on texture, shape and form.
