In this day and age even the advertising of deserts has become hyper sexualised. Ice cream is a children’s favourite. This feels profoundly inappropriate and sinister. Is this deliberate? it a coincidence? or is there something more?

Cinematic City is a collection of street photographs taken by the author to represent film stills. These antagonise the viewer into creating a narrative around the image.

As a child I played a game with my mother making backstories about strangers. Cinematic City is an evolution of this.
