CINEMATIC CITY

Cinematic City is a collection of street photographs taken by the author to represent film stills, accompanied by a short narrative. These antagonise the viewer into participation by continuing the story, or making one of their own surrounding the image. Asking the question, is there something more?

As a child I played a game with my mother making backstories about strangers. Cinematic City is an evolution of this. I stalk the city hunting for candid images around which you are invited to build a fiction
